Our baby room had been designed to offer comfort, providing areas which are ideal for creative actives, exploration, and discovery, also cosy areas for sleep, rest and recuperation.
A bright and inviting room, offering a secure and safe environment helping to ensure your baby develops into a confident, independent individual.
Within our settings we ensure the babies have all their needs met, this is achieved by having personal profiles completed during your child's first induction periods. This special relationship is continued through our 'Key Person' system. This system ensures continuity is complimented from home and nursery, with personal diaries and development records which are all recorded in your child's journal which continues throughout their time with us.
The Baby Room is equipped to a high standard, offering its own changing facilities; ensuring staff have everything close to hand. Within our Baby Room we also have a second kitchen area this is additional to our main kitchen. These facilities promote better practice allowing the team to prepare bottles easily and ensure meal times are a happy social period.
Along with our fun packed day of activities we use 'Makaton' (sign language) to encourage self-expression and communication. This method of signing is an essential ingredient in language development. We have found signing endorses communication, an activity which can be shared with every child within nursery.

Within this room activities are centred more upon social skills, helping your toddler to prepare for activities which require a little more stimulation and control.
Daily focused activities take place centred on the child's individual needs, with activities encouraging learning and progression with eating habits and toileting: introducing the potty and moving on to toilet training.
This area of development is down to each child as an individual, we ensure our team work closely with both the child and the parents.
