NURSERY ROOM

Within our nursery room our children range from two to three years, with slightly different skills and needs.

Our aim within this age range is to concentrate on social skills and independence with a wide variety of creative activities which take place inside and outside the nursery.

We encourage the use of outside activities with our individuality laid out garden,which provides a growing area for the children to plant their own vegetables, enabling additional activities encouraging exploration and investigation.

We also provide bathroom facilities to aide with the transition to be nappy free. Our children learn through activities based upon their needs, working in line with the EYFS curriculum.

Great emphasis is made to instil a strong parent partnership with strong emphasis on communication, especially at the end of a busy session / day.

PRE-SCHOOL ROOM

The final transition for the preparation of 'Big School'! A wonderful period in every child's time at nursery, we ensure we have plenty of visitors such as the police and the fire brigade, the children go for educational walks, parent workshops are held throughout the terms, with additional special events such as; a yearly nativity play, sports day, and a fun week, raising money for the less fortunate, providing lots of themed days and activities.

The year is very packed with different areas of learning and new experiences; it passes by much too quickly; there is always a tear at graduation.
