Fundraising & Community Support
At Cotton Tails, giving back is at the heart of what we do. Over the years, we’ve worked together with our children, families, and team to raise vital funds for charities that make a real difference in people’s lives.
Our main priority has been Birmingham Children’s Hospital, where each year our ‘Fun Week’ and themed events contribute to a substantial donation. We’re proud that Cotton Tails Nurseries have been recognised as one of the hospital’s Top 100 Fundraisers - and our very own Dr Whoot owl, part of Birmingham’s 2015 Big Hoot trail, sits proudly at Hagley as a reminder of that community spirit.
But our support doesn’t stop there. Together we also take part in:
-
MacMillan Coffee Morning – hosting cake sales and coffee mornings in every nursery.
-
Crisis at Christmas – funding tables to provide homeless people with a hot meal and essential healthcare products.
-
National charity days – joining in with Children in Need, Comic Relief, and Sport Relief.
-
Awareness events – recognising and celebrating the individuality of our children by supporting awareness days for Down Syndrome, Spina Bifida, Cystic Fibrosis, Autism, and Cerebral Palsy.
Fundraising is about more than just raising money - it’s about teaching children the value of kindness, community, and helping others. Together, we’re proud to make a difference.
