Cotton Tails Too Day Nursery, based in Rubery, Birmingham, has been caring for children aged 0–5 since 2001. We’re open Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 6:00pm, all year round (except bank holidays).
Our nursery is a safe, happy place where children can learn, play, and grow. We work closely with parents and keep an open-door policy, so you can always feel part of your child’s journey.
With four bright rooms, a secure outdoor play area, and an on-site cook preparing fresh, healthy meals, we make sure every child is nurtured and supported. We also provide nappies (where needed), though formula milk is not included.

From babies to preschoolers, explore the spaces where little ones feel at home
Our Baby Room is a bright and nurturing space where little ones can explore through messy play like water, paint, and jelly - perfect for early discovery and first mark-making. A cosy corner provides comfort and rest, while our milk kitchen ensures feeds and snacks are always ready. With a dedicated key person system, we follow your baby’s routine closely, helping them feel happy, settled, and secure as they grow.
Our Tinie Room is a cheerful, stimulating space created especially for growing toddlers. With songs, music, and plenty of room to move, little ones develop language, confidence, and independence as they play alongside others. Messy play activities like water play and early mark-making encourage creativity and exploration, while soft cushions and beanbags provide a cosy place to rest after all the excitement.
Our Nursery Room is designed for curious, adventurous toddlers who are ready for a little more structure in their day. Play is still at the heart of everything we do, but we also support independence and growth through 24- and 36-month assessments, helping each child reach their full potential. Children build confidence, creativity, and friendships while exploring our well-equipped imagination area, learning to care for others, and discovering the world around them.
Our School Room gently prepares children for the exciting step into ‘big school’. Through a wide range of EYFS-based activities, they gain early skills in listening, problem-solving, and independence - often bringing home work they’re proud to share. We nurture respect and kindness, and with special visits from Busy Lizzie, there’s always something new and fun to enjoy.
Lisa Daniels has been part of Cotton Tails Too since 2004, becoming Nursery Manager in 2008 after working as both a room leader and Deputy. She also achieved her Level 3 Management qualification in 2009. With years of experience and a passion for creating a safe, happy environment, Lisa leads the nursery with dedication and care, supported by Deputy Manager Letecia Worthington, ensuring every child thrives during their time with us.
